The past couple days and been a ton of fun.  on Thursday i found out that my friend Zack was in town and was getting married on Friday after talking to him for a bit he asked if i would come to the sealing.  it was a good one at that.  As we sat in the room David and Dan were there and we talked about what room people where sealed in.  Zack and his wife got sealed in the same room as Christina and I, David’s sister and i think Dan said that someone in his family was sealed in that room as well. i thought that was neat. After the Sealing we went over to the lunch in and had some good food there.

The next day David, Aaron, Dan, Jade, the Lakes, and me went to Canyon Lake for the day.  We got there about 9:30 am and left at about 3pm.  Everyone but me, are really good at wakeboarding (it could be that i don’t go all the time.)  We all had a lot of fun.  Of course i got burnt but not too bad (if you ask my wife she will say different), it is mostly my face and legs that got the bulk of it.  At 7pm that night we went to the wedding reception they had some awesome cupcakes the frosting on them were sooooo good.  didn’t stay long because we didn’t but we had a lot of fun.  By this time at night i had been up for 36 hours or so. Man i slept good that night

Graduation

I am so excited to graduate in 5 weeks! President Obama will be speaking at my commencement, the bad news is that I only get to invite 6 people. I believe both sets of grandparents will be in town too! I have been going to school at least full time and working part time for last 5 years and I am so ready to graduate! Too bad this is the worst year to be graduating in education. Almost all school districts in the valley are in a hiring freeze. We are hoping for the best.
Student teaching has been the best experience in education I have had so far. I am the happiest I have been in years and I love going to school every day! I will truely miss my students at the end of this school year.

this was a a fun afternoon with my family sitting outside and enjoying the wonderful weather and the compay of my wife.

UGGGGGGGG.......SCHOOL/WORK

Where do we begin with our days, if it is not school, it is work or we are asleep. Christina is up before the sun and and leaves for the day and then it is my turn with getting up for school and having class all morning long. Math and then a 3 hour break to English, and on Mondays and Wednesdays I have some Gospel studies as well. The semester can't go by quick enough, but that is what we say about all our semesters right? Well after school it is on to work and being there for 8 hours makes the day seem really long with only being able to talk to my wife via cell phone it makes the day really long. I get home about 11:30 pm and finally get to see my wife for the first time since 6:45 am when she left for school.
Christina is teaching at Mirada Elementary, by the way this is where Christina went to school when she was in elementary school. She has been teaching more and more each week. After Spring Break, she will be teaching full time with little to no help of her mentor teacher. She loves working with her mentor teacher and loves some of her class. After a full day of being in the classroom, on Tuesday and Thursday nights she then goes on to teach piano lessons. On Wednesdays she has a class at ASU that she has to take. When she is all done she goes over to her parents house for a little bit and then goes home and tries to be in bed by 9:30pm. By the time I get home to see my beautiful wife she has been a sleep for about 2 hours and is long gone. So we only get Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays to spend any time with each other so our time with each other is limited and hard to come by.
With May coming that will bring new life in to our marriage. In May we will have been married for 2 years and Christina is graduating from ASU with her Teaching degree. That is the good news but the bad news is teaching jobs are getting hard and hard to come by. The summer will be hard for her in finding a job. Most schools are trying to keep the teachers they have and not looking to add anymore (bad news for Christina).

I am just glad that we have the weekends to be with each other.

Adventures in the Snow

Here are some pics of our Snow Day just past Pine and Strawberry Arizona. There were a lot of people there but we all had fun until the boys got cold and wanted to go home. The best part of the day was when Christina and I went down the hill and about half way I fell off and she started going faster and almost to the end she would go into a spin it looked fun. My dad got a picture of it.

Christmas

Charlie and I had a wonderful Christmas. We spent most of it with Charlie's family but we were able to see my family for a couple of hours! The biggest part of Christmas was that I got a piano! Charlie's dad helped us buy it. I love to play it, it looks and sounds beautiful!

Our Christmas break had been very busy but relaxing we have been able to spend most of it with our families. I start student teaching tomorrow in a fifth grade classroom. I am both really excited and scared at the same time! Charlie goes back to school on the 2oth.

We have misplaced our camera, so we can't put any pictures on, but as soon as we find it we will put our pictures on!
